Pool Adventures, Take 3

This past weekend we headed toward Charlottesville and spent the weekend at our friends' house. When Jake was growing up in Charlottesville he had two best buds, John and Justin. We stayed with Justin and his family this weekend, but John and his family were also able to come out on Saturday, too - along with other friends that Jake knew from his youth. We had a great time, including staying up until 3am Friday night playing RockBand (what was I thinking!?!) - which is when I learned that I'm not cut out for late nights anymore!
On Saturday we walked across the road to the grandparents' house and had fun in their pool for several hours. Yes, I know... more pool pictures? But we really did have a blast, and the photos are fun to look at. Will got even more adventurous in the pool this time, jumping off the side to Jake... and even enjoying a Lion King-esque jump off the diving board.
Everyone enjoyed the diving board. Here's Jake...
Bella...
and Addie...
We tried to get Jacob to take a turn, too, but he would only jump from the side. He also had another noodle this time, but he kept arm floats on as well. I didn't want another scare in the water (see Pool Adventures, Take 2).
The boys kept Jake busy - he is such a great dad:
Here are some shots of our friends:
Justin, Carin, and their foster children (their little girl had retreated inside after a wasp stung her bottom):
I asked Jake to take some photos of me, since recently I've been the one behind the lens...
Jacob gave me some lovin' and a kiss:
After a long day of playing hard we were all tuckered...

I wish I had snapped some photos later with John's family, but maybe next time. We hope to spend more time in the Charlottesville area with Jake's parents and our friends over the next couple months... it's hard to believe that we will be in Mississippi in only 8 weeks. Sigh.
