Painting fun...

My kids absolutely love to paint. They aren't extraordinary artists, but they enjoy the creative process and always have a blast. So today, I thought I would let Will have a go at the paints, too. This was his first painting experience (we usually wait till he is napping to do anything messy) and he seemed pleased with himself. Granted, he mostly painted the paint, and the newsprint, but he didn't mind.

Jacob started out painting with his right hand. I think he was confused because the paint was on that side, but he later switched over to his left hand. I think he will prove to be quite ambidextrous like his Daddy.

Addie had painted a nice outdoor scene with a girl, an animal (I think), a tree, and the sky. But then she heard Jake praise Bella's use of a 'background' and Addie went to fill in a background of her own in red. I think it's too bad, because it was nicer without all the red, but that's okay.
