Bella's last soccer game

Bella had her last soccer game yesterday morning. She loves soccer, and plans to continue her adventures in Mississippi, too. By the end of this season (her first venture into the soccer foray) she was getting bolder on the field. She even managed to get the ball during yesterday's game, which she was very proud of. She really, really wanted to score a goal this season, but she wasn't quite aggressive enough yet. Her coach (a college student at VT) was good at encouraging Bella, which I am thankful for, so it didn't bother Bella that she never scored. Maybe next season!

They won their last game 3-0... they were thrilled:

Bella was so happy that they won their last game. She said to me, "It would be really sad to lose your last game!" Afterwards we all went to Panera for brunch (their game was at 8:30am!) and Bella received a medal and certificate from her coach. She was so proud of her medal that she wore it all day and only took it off for bed when Jake asked her to hand it over. I'm looking forward to our future soccer journey!
