Through the eyes of the children

 A couple Christmases ago, Santa brought Bella a new digital camera. She wanted a "real" camera that could take photos and video like her cousin, Gracie, had. Well, Santa delivered quite a nice Nikon CoolPix and despite my fears that it wouldn't last a couple months, it is now still going strong at 16 months. It has become a communal camera for the three older kids, and they take pictures nearly everyday. They are great at documenting our daily lives  - everything and anything goes. And although many, many, MANY photos get deleted, there are some worth keeping. I even (much to Jake's chagrin) keep quite a few photos that aren't great quality, but that tell a story. {Note my gigantic belly... Will made his debut only a few days after this photo!}

Here are a few recent photos the kids have taken this month:

She loves her daddy!

I just love Jacob's eyes... he gets them from his daddy:

Addie is all about the self portrait photos:

I'm not sure what Will is doing...  but this cracks me up:

You can see a bit of Addie's knack for style in this one:

Both girls recently received special baby dolls from Gramma. Gramma went all out on these gifts, and the girls absolutely love them. In fact, Bella will get a bit defensive if Jake or I refer to Theresa (that's her name) as a doll... "She is not a doll. She is my baby!" Needless to say, they take many photos of their 'babies', too.

This is Addie's doll... originally named Sophia but recently changed to Rose:

Bella asked Addie to take photos to show Gramma:

The babies even watched our movie tonight:

Santa sure did a good job on this present! ;)
