My friend, April, had these wonderful capes that her mom (or perhaps mother-in-law) made for her children. When I saw them, I knew that I wanted some, too. The kids are always tying blankets on their backs to play "superheroes," and capes would be
so much easier. So after studying and measuring April's capes, I set out to make some capes for my kids and their cousins. This is how they turned out - they were a hit with the kids!
Bella and her cousin, Cy, flying around...
My nephew, Jude:
Will, who absolutely loved feeling like a big kid in his cape:
Addie, the birthday girl (the reason for the hat... although it does look like a wizard):
Jacob:
And my niece, Evie (being flown by her dad):
They sure do make some adorable superheroes!
Those are awesome! You did such a good job!
