Music makes my children happy, too...

Addie recently celebrated a birthday and consequently received some birthday money from Nana and Grandpa. We finally made it to the store last Friday and one of the gifts she chose was a new radio (the other was a new movie). The girls have been hoping for a radio ever since they visited a friend with one after Christmas, so this was a long anticipated gift.

Well, it was definitely a good choice, because this radio has been on nearly nonstop since Friday night. I think they take after me... music makes them happy! They have an assortment of music CDs and books on disc, and we've heard them all several times over by now. Many a time I have had to remind them that if the TV is on, the radio must be off or headphones must be used. Addie has taken to listening with headphones while watching TV. Silly girl.

Tonight I decided to snap some photos of their dance session. Note this was post-bath for the boys (in pajamas) and pre-bath for the girls (a bit bedraggled). They had fun, nevertheless.

Bella twirling:

Poor Jacob is always the prized dance partner:

Will tolerates it pretty well, too:

But Jacob prefers to shake his booty solo:

My days are always full of smiles when the kids are doing cute things (sometimes full of stress when the volume level stretches my sanity). Here are a few random extra tidbits...

Will loves to brush his teeth with any available toothbrush. This particular one belongs to a sister:

Addie said, "Take a picture of me!" and struck a pose fit for a supermodel:

The kids were sporting their new $1 socks from Target. They just love new socks. It makes them so happy that I have a hard time resisting the joy the $4 (total) provides.

Simple pleasures. I mean, who doesn't like a new pair of socks? And who doesn't enjoy dancing to some great music?
