Easter Happenings...

We had a very nice Easter weekend. Jake's parents, as well as his sister and her family were all here to join the festivities. We packed Saturday full of dying eggs, running outside, and celebrating Addie's birthday. Sunday followed by celebrating the greatest gift of all: the Resurrection of our Lord, Jesus! We packed the day with Easter baskets, egg hunts, and more fun. Here are a few highlights...

I saw this great idea on Our Best Bites, and just had to try. I plan to do these every year!

This is a close up of the only eggs remaining after the boys had an egg fight...

I actually like the backs the best, where the cloth had bunched:

On a few, there was even a pattern of a cross, but those were broken in the fight.

We had a great weekend full of family and fun. And most importantly, remembering that "He is not here;  He has risen!"
