First thing this morning Addie started asking me to watch "the water fight." Now, The Water Fight is a short clip on one of Bella's school DVDs,
MathTacular! This DVD contains 88 short clips teaching math concepts, from simple number recognition to shapes & colors to fractions & measurement and so on. The Water Fight is a lesson on more & less, and the kids absolutely love it. They laugh like crazy and it makes me laugh watching them. So as I pulled myself away from the computer to put in the movie, I walk into the living room to find that the kids have transferred 4 dining chairs into the living room to make a movie theater. Four hard, wooden chairs lined up
directly in front of our nice, soft, comfy couch. They crack me up.
Apparently, these math lessons are so interesting that it can entertain all my children, which says quite a lot for the DVD.
(Will was kicking his feet at this point.)
He then lost interest and decided to join me for a bit:
Before he tried to turn the TV off:
Here they are watching The Water Fight... I love their laughter.
I love my kids. They are so cute sometimes, it just makes me smile from ear to ear.
Elliot ALWAYS pulls a chair up in front of the T.V rather than sitting on the couch. I do NOT get it! A hard wooden chair, bar stool if desperate, but never the couch. Weird that yours do it too. Maybe it's something about it being more their size. I dunno
