Homeschool Field Day

This year we participated in our first Homeschool Field Day. It was such a treat to spend a day having fun outside, and getting to participate in something that is usually only offered in a traditional school setting. My friend, Megan, organized the event and it was a great success! Here are a few games they played:
Addie in the leaky cup relay:
Bella passing through the hula hoop:
Will and Jacob making a yarn web to bounce a beach ball on:
Will in a dress-up relay (the shades and beach towel):
Jacob passing a soaked sponge in an over-under relay:
The water-ballon toss (Will was a bit distracted):
 Bella with her friend, Jaden:
At the end of the day one of the moms had arranged to have the Schwann's man deliver rocket pops. The kids were very happy to enjoy those popsicles! This group shot is missing at least 10-15 children that had wandered off before the photo was taken... I love being a part of such a strong homeschooling community.
