Finger lickin' good! Few things are as messy as a baby and Doritos:
One night, Jacob woke up to go pee and then promptly walked straight through the living room and kitchen (while ignoring my inquiries) and climbed right into Jake's side of the bed. He pulled the covers up way tight and went instantly back to sleep. He was super cute and I just couldn't move him back. I will admit that I am a total sucker for having a kid in bed while Jake is away... our big bed is just too empty when it's just me.
One day we picked up Krispy Kreme to save for dessert and breakfast the next day, but as soon as we got home Will had a different plan. He managed to squeeze his hand in the back corner of the box for some sprinkles and frosting:
Sarah was spayed this week, and she is now sentenced to two weeks in the 'cone of shame'. The children call her "Sarah, the Giant Flashlight: Half Dog and Half Flashlight." They enjoy pretending that when you pull her tail, she opens her mouth and there is a lightbulb inside. Aye, kids! Personally, I thought it would perhaps mellow her out... but she still manages to dig in the mud, eat wayward crayons, and get up to her usual trouble.
And this last photo is strictly for Jake... proof that I have finally ironed his two shirts. It only took me 2 months, but considering my final deadline is in August, I'd say I'm 6 months ahead of schedule!
