It was quite tricky to shove a tent on the bottom bunk, and I'm hoping that the top doesn't get worn out on the sheet of plywood from the top bunk. But I made it work!
Unfortunately, when we purchased these tents we didn't bother getting one for Will. He was almost 1 and wasn't able to get on the top bunk yet, so he didn't even notice. However, now that he is 2 and very aware of everything, I made Jacob share his tent (much to his dismay). I wasn't sure how well the boys could share a twin bed, but they've been doing great. I'm still debating if I will buy a second boy tent, since it is so hard to fit one on the bottom bunk. In this top photo, Will is peeking out the window:
The kids have been having a blast in their tents!

Soooooo, I want to come live at your house and have a tent bed! I love it!
ReplyDeleteOh Brooke... I SO want you to come live at our house, too! Well, at least visit. :) Haha... I wonder if they make them queen sized... we could sleep in a tent together in the master bed. LoL.
