After our school celebration we rushed home for a chance to visit with our friends from Hawaii. They are moving with the Army from Hawaii to Alaska, but had taken some time to visit with family in Mississippi first. Although we only had a couple hours to see each other, it was a great visit and so neat to see them again. When I first met Deborah, both of our husbands were deployed and we had both just had a baby (her 4th, my 3rd). We made a fast friendship founded on our faith in the Lord, and I am so glad we met!
The first summer we spent together... look at how little these girls were: Addie, Bella, and Bethany.
Now look at these girls... 4 years later:
This is Jacob and Alivia, back in November 2007. Oh the fun of a toilet and toilet paper!
...and now here Alivia is, such a pretty girl!
Jacob showed Austin how to play Angry Birds on my iPad:
The boys enjoyed watching Chicken Little:
Will watched from the floor as Ethan explored...
Isn't he such a cutie?
Deborah and me:
I thank the Lord (and the military) for the friendships He has blessed me with!
