On Saturday we got together with a group of homeschooling families to celebrate the end of our school year. We had a wonderful celebration and I am so thankful for this group. As we were talking and enjoying the day, it suddenly struck me that the rest of these families will be here together and have the chance to follow through the school years with one another, but that we will be moving (supposedly) next summer. It makes me a bit sad. I would love the opportunity to stay with this group for the long haul, but I will just enjoy the time that we have and make the most of it.
The celebration included a giant water slide, fun on the playground, water balloons, snow cones, food and a certificate presentation.
