Per his request, I made Jake a rum cake to celebrate. The kids and I, however, enjoyed some chocolate cupcakes instead. This is Jake's "Why is my wife taking a photo of this? I know it is going to end up on her blog" expression:

This was Jake's reaction to the "my wife wants the Beatles Rockband game so she bought it and wrapped it for me" gift. At least it's better than the framed picture of a barn I got him one year that I still get flack for. ;)
Somehow our movers managed to "misplace" our original Wii system. So this was a "we were getting this no matter what, but it's always fun to open a wrapped present" gift.
Jacob was super excited about the replacement Wii system (and yes, that is chocolate frosting all over his face):
This is Jake's cheesy grin that I got when I prompted... "So what did you get, honey?" The kids love this expression!
