It Was a Great Year

I just recently got around to downloading photos off of Bella's camera, and when looking through the pictures there were some from over a month ago! Specifically, there were some from our last day with Gramma and Grandad in Virginia. They came down to visit us on our last Saturday, and Bella snapped some shots:

One of the biggest blessings of our year in Virginia was living so close to Jake's parents. The children absolutely adore their Gramma and Grandad, and they just loved visiting with them so frequently. I am so thankful for good family relationships - it is so important to me and for that I am truly grateful. It was very hard to say goodbye, so hard, that we got Mary to come spend one last afternoon with us a couple days later (Dana was working)... and I snapped this shot in the Olive Garden foyer: 

It was a great year.
