My Awesome Will

On Wednesday I took Will in to the allergist to address his numerous, recurring rashes. The appointment started at 8am and didn't end till nearly 2pm. Whew. 6 hours of waiting, testing, waiting, testing, and waiting. Oh, and did I mention there was some waiting? The unbelievable part, though, is that Will didn't cry AT ALL through getting his blood drawn (2 vials), getting 32 back pricks, getting 6 arm injections, and a trip to the lab for another round of blood tests (7 vials). He was amazing. And after hearing nurse after nurse sing the praises of my wonderful baby, what else could a mother say? He is stinkin' awesome in my opinion. ;) The last group of lab nurses (sorry, I don't know the correct term) kept saying that he has a future in medicine. He was so observant and calmly watched his blood being drawn. Did I mention he's amazing?
He didn't like the bandaid, however, and took it off promptly:
Back pricks:
One positive for oats:
His reward after arm injections = one sticky mess:
So far, he is positive for oats, and we are waiting on all the results from the lab work. Thankfully, he was negative for all other foods, outdoor and indoor allergens, and pets. But wow, Will is SUCH a trooper!
