We spent most of the 4th of July with some dear friends out in the country. It was a nice day full of swimming, playing, good food and good fun. We capped the night with some fireworks - country style. It may not have been the same as watching a big fireworks display, but they were still beautiful and spending the evening with good friends was a perfect way to celebrate our Independence Day.
Here are some ways the kids had fun...
Bella tried to catch a bunny... she even put out some lettuce, but no luck. ;)

I am so thankful for our freedom and independence... and for family and friends, too!
