Blackberry Picking

Since we have moved to Virginia, we've been fruit picking a LOT. We've hand picked raspberries, apples, strawberries, cherries, and now blackberries. Next on our list will be the blueberries that are currently in season. YUM!

This past Saturday we went blackberry picking up near Charlottesville at Hill Top Berry Farm and Winery while we were visiting the grandparents. It was the start of the blackberry season, so the ripe berries were a bit spread out, but they were absolutely delicious. 

Will went around and had a blackberry feast. After he had his fill, he just started mashing them in his hands, then ran up to me and placed two perfect handprints on my shorts. Thankfully, Gramma was able to get the stains out for me. ;)
