Snapshots

Here are a few moments that we've had since our return from vacation...

Perhaps if Will wouldn't fight naps so much, he wouldn't have to fall asleep mid-play:
When the children ride bikes out front, they often set up what they call a 'pitstop' in our neighbor's yard. You know, because that 30 feet is just so far away.
We went to a Rockstar themed birthday party, and were told to dress up like rockstars. The best I could come up with was sunglasses and spray painted hair. It wasn't anything special but the kids were really into the hair colors!
Will is officially potty trained now! He looks so cute in his big boy undies, and I'm thrilled that he doesn't insist on being naked anymore. Better yet, we are now out of our diaper days! Woohoo! He still needs something for bedtime but that doesn't really count in my book. After over 8 solid years of having a child or children in diapers, we are done! We are Done! We are DONE!
A side note is that Will's current obsession is anything and everything related to firetrucks. He has slowly grown his firetruck collection to include several books, a small yellow firetruck that goes everywhere with him, a small Red from the movie CARS, and now this large firetruck complete with an extendable ladder and sounds. I wonder if he'll grow up to be a fireman one day? In the meantime I might find out if I could get the kids a tour in the local firehouse...
Jacob saw me taking photos of Will and wanted in on the action. When he smiles, it reminds me that he is related to me: either he's blinking from the flash or he has inherited my squinty eyes. I've been teased for as long as I can remember for having this feature. It's a part of being Korean so I'm proud of it, but my little 1/4 Korean child just makes me laugh when I see these photos. Squinty eyes from mommy + extremely thick and long eyelashes from daddy + cheesy large grin =
Or perhaps he's just blinking from the flash... but it's really hard to tell!
Sarah may still be a 'puppy,' but she sure isn't a small thing anymore!
