Road Trip Part 3 - Jacksonville

Our last destination on our trip was a one-night stop in Jacksonville with friends Rebecca and Kenny, and their lovely children Kenaston, Delaney, Seth, Oliver, and Asher. If you're counting... yes, that would be 9 kids altogether! I wish I had thought to get a group photo of all of the children, but alas, that didn't happen. I did, however, grab some shots of the kids investigating the worms in the compost bin. Kenny gave a mini science lesson right on the spot and 3 of my children were fascinated. Jacob stopped for a bit to look at the worms, but he wasn't interested in touching them, which kind of surprised me.

The rest of the visit was full of the children just having a blast together. I am grateful that Rebecca and Kenny opened their home to us... it was such a blessing to spend the night with them as opposed to a night at a hotel. If we hadn't been on a strict time frame, we all would have enjoyed spending just a bit longer with their family!
