Random Snapshots

One day for snack time I gave some of the kids cheese sticks. Jacob kept asking for more and once I cut him off, he decided to sneak another bite. Let's just say that he didn't get away undetected:

Ever since Jake deployed, the children have been making themselves home in all the extra bed space that Jake's absence affords. One morning, I awoke to find myself squeezed in this tiny space between Will and Addie:
As I snapped some photos, Jacob stirred and rolled over, which caused Addie to do likewise. I thought it was cute:
Thankfully, Bella stayed in her own bed or it would've been a VERY tight fit:
The next night, as I was putting the girls in bed, the boys snuck in and took over my bed. When I was finally ready to hit the sack, I found it quite occupied:
Then last night, after I had put all the kids in bed, I hear Will calling from behind the hallway doors, "Mom! Will your bed, Mommy." I open the door and find him ready with blanket, cup, and train in hand:
They might be just a tad spoiled with my current sleeping leniency. The problem is, I almost never even know they've joined me until morning! Guess I will have to crack down before Jake gets home, but there's plenty of time for that.

And tonight, Addie lost her second tooth! Time for the Tooth Fairy to make another visit!

  1. Wow. I don't know how you can sleep through all those kids climbing into your bed, and then sleep with them taking all the space!! I wake up whenever someone even walks into my room. But at least they want to be with you :)
