Our children love big trucks. For the longest time they have enjoyed playing with their toy monster trucks, and are always pointing out any trucks on the road that ride high and have big tires... to them, even those are considered 'monster' trucks. So when I heard that Monster Jam was coming to town, I was determined to take the family. We went to the Friday night show because it happened to be a busy weekend for us, and the kids had an absolute blast. Jake and I, however, found the show a bit underwhelming. We weren't sure what the kids thought during the event, but when we got to the car and asked them the first thing we heard was, "That. Was. AWESOME!" The aftermath of excitement and retelling of events has assured us that they did, indeed, really enjoy it. We are hoping to go to a bigger show in the future - one that is in a larger arena or preferably outdoors. Here are a few photos from the night, but they aren't the best as we weren't allowed to take in our good camera (it is considered a 'professional' camera).

El Toro Loco - this was my personal favorite truck of the night. And it was Will's, too, as orange is his favorite color.
Grave Digger. I guess this is a pretty popular truck as it was the headliner of the night. I was lucky to find the toy version the week after the show and now the kids seem to favor it when they play.
All lined up and ready to go!
Thankfully, we were informed to bring ear protection for the event. I am grateful that we did, as it was LOUD!
Good times... we shall do it again!
