We had a good Halloween this year. Since we didn't make it to a pumpkin patch, I let the children pick out pumpkins at Wal-Mart and we were able to get some pretty nice, large pumpkins for a good price. Jake and I spent some time online searching for patterns, and each child got to pick out their design. However, 4 children + 4 pumpkins to carve = quite a lot of work for mom and dad!
On Halloween night we headed to our friends' house for dinner and trick-or-treating. Here are the girls with their friend, Haley:

It was a good evening and the haul of candy was pretty decent. I think I've eaten probably half of the chocolate bucket all on my own... they do have to pay the Mommy Tax, after all!
