Road Trip (#2) Part 4 - Atlanta

Our final stop on our grand road trip was my Aunt Nam Suk's house in Atlanta. (Getting to Atlanta was quite the ordeal, but I'll save that story for another day/post.) My parents drove up from Florida to meet us there in Atlanta, so it was an added bonus to get to see them, too!

The first day we just enjoyed hanging out around the house and visiting with our family. We took the children to a lake for a couple hours and that was very nice and relaxing. It was a beautiful day.

We were originally only going to stay for one day, but decided to stay an extra day and headed to the Georgia Aquarium with my cousin, Jessie. Since it was Labor Day weekend, the place was packed, but we still managed to have a great time. If we lived near Atlanta we would go back there a lot - the children are always fascinated with sea life.
The whale sharks were pretty cool to see:
Not sure what Bella's doing, but she's cute doing it:

After the aquarium we went out to dinner where another cousin of mine, Dong Young, works. I hadn't seen him since visiting Korea back when I was about 6 years old. It was great to see him, and a treat to have him as our chef:
Dong Young had come over to my aunt's house the night before and we got to visit together, but he didn't get a chance to see the children as they were already in bed. When he got a few free minutes during dinner he came over to meet his little (second) cousins and it was a sweet visit.

We hit the road the next morning, but not before the children got to say goodbye to my cousin, Jason. The last time we had seen Jason was in Hawaii when we only had the girls and I was pregnant with Jacob. It is amazing how life just passes us by.
An early morning shot of me, Jason, Jessie, and Addie:

I am blessed to have such wonderful friends and family in my life. I wish we weren't so spread out all over the country (and world, for that matter)... and that I had more time to get to know my extended family. But for now, we'll just have to try and take more road trips and see who we can along the way...
