A friend of mine posted a link on Friday to a photo of an Easter Garden. As soon as I saw it I thought, "I want to make one!" One of the materials we needed was some stones for a pathway to the tomb. Back in October the children and I had taken a field trip to a rock mine down near Richmond. We spent a whole afternoon digging, sifting, and searching for rocks. I think they turned out to be perfect for the Easter Garden - the colors were beautiful.
After a trip to Lowe's yesterday for the pots, soil, and grass seed... we were all set to get started.
Here is our finished product... now we just wait for our grass to grow!
It was a fun and simple project and I hope it will assist us in focusing our hearts on Jesus this Easter season.
