My Heart is Fuller
So many times I hear from perfect strangers, "You have your hands full." I usually just smile, nod, and muster a flustered response along the lines of "Always," or "Yes, I do, but I'm blessed." After all, in those moments when a stranger usually says it to me I'm more than likely trying to wrangle 4 kids through a store, or maneuver them safely through a parking lot. I'm usually flustered, or frustrated, or just tired of the effort required of taking 4 young kids everywhere I go - even if that's a 5 minute stop to run and get just 1 thing at the store. Love the pictures. Your family is beautiful, and you've certainly been blessed. I get that comment all the time, and I always wonder if people say it because they're impressed, or critical of someone who has more than one or two kids. I always try to respond with a smile, to let them know that I'm happy about my handful of kids!
