It never ceases to amaze me when we celebrate yet another birthday at how incredibly fast my babies are growing up. Jacob is now 4 years old! When he was born, Jake was deployed halfway across the world - from Hawaii to Africa. God had His hand so evidently in Jacob's birth that whenever I recall the story I still feel immense gratitude at His provisions. (But alas, that is a story for another time.) This year, Jake was once again deployed, but we have such amazing technology that we were still able to be 'together' for the celebration. I am truly thankful for the blessing of technology!
